Second half of the 19th Century Portrait of a Zouave Oil on canvas, 35 x 26.5 cm Frame 53.5 x 44.5 cm Full-length portrait, in the center of the canvas is a Zouave seated on a large stone. Called by a black dog, the soldier looks down, where the observer's point of view is also located. Particular attention has been paid to the depiction of the uniform and its elegant embroidery, and to the casual pose of the Zouave, captured in a realistic moment of rest.
